Installation

Copilot is available as a native app on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android).

System requirements

As a general rule, use a phone that is not older than 7 years.

• iOS: iPhone with iOS 17 or later
• Android: any model from a known manufacturer not older than 7 years should work

On Android, the logger functionality requires Google Play services.

Embedded systems such as aircraft instruments running Android are often constrained on memory size and graphics performance, limiting or preventing the use of Copilot.

Copilot Web App vs. Copilot Native App

For a long time, Copilot was only available as a web app. If you are currently using the web app, we recommend switching to the native app.

Advantages of the native app:

• All features of the web app
• Logger functionality
• Logbook
• Seamless upload to WeGlide (including comments and airspace check)
• Higher system stability
