Opening www.weglide.org displays a notice in red letters the maps are not working or the page simply stays blank? We got your covered.

Blank Page

This can have multiple causes. Most probably your browser or operating system is outdated. If you are running a modern browser and still see a blank page, please contact info@weglide.org.

Browsers which are tested and work are: Firefox from version 78, Chrome from version 87, Safari from version 14 (Mojave), Edge from version 88 or mobile browsers updated after than 2020.

No back button on iPads

Swipe from the left screen edge to the center of the app, iPad supports the same gestures as iPhones for navigating websites or web apps.

The keyboard does not pop up

iOS has a bug where sometimes the keyboard does not show up when tapping a form field. This is triggered by switching between web apps on affected iOS versions. Restarting the phone fixes the issue temporarily. Worst case use the website instead of the web app until Apple really fixes this.

Red notice to update your Browser or activate JavaScript

WeGlide is highly complex in it's functionality and we can not support older browsers with reasonable performance or provide the functionality without JavaScript. Please excuse.

The map does not display or behaves strangely

WebGL does not work as intended on your device. You can test it here: https://webglreport.com/?v=2 Maybe you are using MacOS Catalina? See below. On mobile phones, reloading the page or closing other apps might help repair the map.

I use MacOS Catalina or earlier

Chances are your graphic drivers got corrupted in a security update: https://communities.apple.com/de/thread/253320172. Then google street view is also broken for you on all browsers. Updating to a newer MacOS version or enabling "WebGL via Metal" under "Experimental Settings" could do the trick. If nothing helps apple support might have a solution.
