Duplicate Accounts
How to prevent duplicate accounts and how to merge one account into another.
Prevention
One email can only be used for one account. It is still possible to create two accounts with the same name and two different email addresses. It is highly recommended to not create a new account when you lose access to your WeGlide accounts email address but write us instead to info@weglide.org
Merging
In case there are multiple accounts on your name and one has no flights, you can log into this account and delete it yourself.
In case there are two accounts on your name with flights on it, please follow these steps:
- Download every flight from the account you want to have deleted
- Write us the account ID or URL you want us to delete from their respective email (as proof you own this account) to info@weglide.org
- Upload your backed up flights to the only remaining account. They will be marked as "uploaded too late" and will not count for the rankings or badges.
- For deleted flights you were copilot on, message the pilot to have your remaining account set as the copilot
If you lost access to your email or other complications, please write us at info@weglide.org and we will try to find a solution together.
